"I do Cherish you"

Rachel sat in a room next to the wedding chapel. It had been an hour since she saw Chandler last. She and him had tried to do the 24 thing, to not see him until the wedding ceremony but it just didn't pan out that way. Ross, sweet as he was, had lost their money on a bad bet in the casino downstairs. Then she and the others did a show with Greta, Joeys showgirl wife, in order to get it back. Now they had enough money to pay for a great honeymoon and for the wedding itself. Outside a weird encounter Chandler had with his ex-girfriend and his ex-roomate, things were now going swimmingly.
Jennnifer, Greta and Monica were sitting back with her, helping her with her dress on, It seemed like she felt prickly and weird all over. But it turned out there was a pin left in her dress.
"I still feel nervous." Rachel said. "Like I'm expecting something else to go wrong!"
"Nothing is gonna go wrong. You need to have a positive attitude." Jennifer advised.
"Lots of weird things are happening." Rachel said. "Anything, at this point, is possible."
"True." Greta said. "Has Chandler arrived yet?"
"Is he here?" Rachel said asked her voice taking on a mouse like squeak.
"He's here." Monica said giving Greta a look. "He's out back with the guys."
"I'm sorry. I just never saw him come in, thats all." Greta apologized. "Sorry."
"Thats ok." Rachel said. "I'm just really on edge, more so than any other near wedding in my life." She thought for a minute. "Boy, did that ever sound weird!"

Out back

Chandler tied his tie. Joey put on his jacket for him and Ross gave him a drink of water.
"The worst thing you can have when you go out there is cotton mouth!" He warned. "It happened to me and Carol, so I know."
"Thanks partner." Chandler said. "I wonder how Rachel is."
"She's fine. And I'm sure she's beautiful too." Joey assured him.
"Do you have your vows?" Ross said to Chandler, checking off a mental checklist.
"Yes."
"Where is it?"
"It's right here." Chandler patted his chest. "Safe and sound."
The priest that was performing the ceremony knocked on the door.
"We're ready for you." He said.
"Right." Chandler said. He took a deep breath. "Are guys ready?"
"Whats important is are you ready?" Joey corrected him.
"Yea." Chandler said. "I'm about to go out there and marry the woman of my dreams.I've never been more ready in my life."

Chandler, Joey and Ross went up to the front of the chapel. There was a small crowd there, mostly there for prayer, but they were witnesses so they counted. Chandler took another deep breath.
"You ok?" Ross asked.
"Fine." Chandler said. They both looked up as the music started.

As the "Wedding march" played, the ladies started to enter the chapel through the back door. Greta was first, wearing a light turquoise gown of her own design. It slightly resembled a wedding gown, but with her own special style. Joey smiled at her as she came down the isle. Then Jennifer came down. Jennifer was officially taking the place that Alison would have been in if she hadnt had to go home so soon. Alison had her baby almost the minute they arrived in Vegas.

Monica was next. She was holding flowers and she threw some on the floor. She then looked at the scattered petals, almost like if she wanted to pick them up. She heard steps to the back of her, then she looked up and moved on.

Rachel came down the isle in the spectacular dress that she got from Gretas personal designer friend of hers. She walked slowly down the isle, enjoying every minute of it.

Chandler stood at the front near the altar, awaiting her.
"Wow, could she be more beautiful?" He whispered to Joey and Ross. They shook their heads in a silent agreement. Rachel almost tripped over a purse a lady left in the aisle, but she was determined not to let that spoil her moment. Rachel smiled as she quietly dodged it. Another couple of steps and she was at the front with Chandler. Her veil was over her face but he could still see her face.
"Dearly beloved." The priest began the ceremony. "We are here on this day to celebrate the union of Chandler Bing and Rachel Karen Green." He began to run through a series of verses from the bible but Chandler and Rachel never heard it. They never took their eyes off of each other. "Now the couple would like to read their own vows." The priest said calling Rachels attention. "Ms Green."
"Oh thats me." She said. She looked at Chandler through her veil. "When I moved in with you, I had no idea what was going to happen to me. I never thought we would get to where we are right now. We have been through so much through the last two years. All kinds of things, breakups, makeups, psychotic girlfriends. We've seem it all, and we've seen it together." Chandler smiled at her, "And I'm glad to be saying that I will see alot more with you, for a very long time."
"Mr Bing?" The priest said.
"I never thought it would happen to us either. We've lived across the hall for years, and noone would have thought to consider us ever to become a couple." Chandler said. "It was a happy surprise that it happened to us the time that it did. It helped me find out what true love is all about, after all." He smiled and looked at the priest.
"Now, before we proceed, is there anyone here who wishes to object to this union?" The priest said. They gang looked around. "All right. Chandler Bing, will you marry this woman Rachel Green, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, till death do you part?"
"I do." He said.
Rachel Green, will you marry this man Chandler Bing, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, till death do you part?"
"I do."
"Then by the power vested in me by the state of Nevada, you are now man and wife." The priest said. "You may now kiss the bride."
Chandler lifted the veil over Rachels face. She looked back at him with no expression on her face. He smiled at her and kissed on the lips. The gang erupted in applause.
"I'd like to introduce you all to Mr and Mrs Chandler Bing!" Ross said.
Chandler wrapped his arms around Rachel. "We did it, we're here!"
"I'm so glad. I thought Stacy would pop up."
"Me too." Chandler said. "But I'm glad she didn't."
"Yes." Rachel said. "I'm glad I'm your wife."
"Me too." Chandler said again. "Me too."
