"Revenge"

Chandler rode the subway to the employment agency. Joey on a rare day off, accompanied him.
"So what kind of job are you gonna look for?" Joey asked his friend while he ate from a bag of peanuts.
"Theres not much I can look for. The only job I've ever had was up there. I don't have much experience at anything else." Chandler said.
"Why don't you try and get Linda fired?" Joey said.
"Thats the smartest thing you've ever said." Chandler said. "But she has power on her side, and they are more likely to believe the woman who saved their company than me. After ten years I'm still a peon." He shook his head. "I wonder if McDonalds is hiring."
"Cool. Then we can get discounts." Joey chuckled.
Chandler smiled at his friend as they subway came to a stop. "Shall we?"
"Sure." Joey said then he moaned.
"What?"
"Damn it, now I'm gonna be thinking about McDonalds till we leave!" Joey whined.
Chandled patted his friend on the back. "Try not to think about it."
"Easy for YOU to say!"

Downtown

Focused like a laser beam, Rachel headed for her target.
Linda was not going to get away with this. She drove Chandler from his job. Albeit a job he secretly couldnt stand but that was different. No one really likes going to work, no matter what you did. Rachel looked for a parking spot at the office building Chandler used to call his second home. She paid a fee and parked it near the top of the tiered concrete parking garage.
"Okay, nine thirty." She said to herself, still sitting in her car. "She ought to be in by now. Do I have everything I need?"
She looked over in her bag. Overnight she had secretly prepared her Revenge Pack without Chandler finding out. She had a pink bottle, and some small cans of paint. She didnt really know what she was going to do until she saw Linda. If Linda wasnt there, then she would have to make do until she arrived. After all, she had nothing better to do.

The employment place

"Okay." Chandler said pulling up a screen with notices on it. "Technology is wonderful, eh? Now I can get tons of ideas for new job, and if I'm lucky just as many rejections at the same time."
"What was your job anyway?" Joey asked.
Chandler gave him a look. "You gotta be kidding."
"I'm not. It was something with computers numbers and a briefcase that never leaked." Joey shrugged. "Beat the hell out of me anyway."
Chandler glared at him then turned back to the computer.
"I'm willing to do anything." He said. Joey moved to talk. "Within reason."
Joey looked sad.
"You can always try acting." He said.
"I'm not an actor. I'm not funny."
Joey laughed. Chandler kept his straight face. "Oh right."
"Heres something?" Chandler said. "Its the same thing I was doing but its way across town."
"Don't you have a car?" Joey asked.
"I do, but its an hour away almost. I'd never see Rachel and I'd practically have to sleep at the office."
"But you'd have a job!"
Chandler stood up. "I won't be able to find it here." He said sadly. Joey followed him out. "I just hope Rachels home right now. I really need to make it up to her. She was hanging out with Ross and I thought it was something else." He explained to Joey as they walked out of the building.
"What's your worse nightmare?"
"Her going back to him." He said. "I was wrong, thankfully. I found out before I did anything stupid."
"She knows all about the Linda thing?"
"Yeah." Chandler said. "You don't think she's planning anything do you?"
"I dunno." Joey said. "I swear!"

The Office

Rachel was coming out of Lindas office when she spotted Linda coming up the hallway. She closed the door behind her and awaited her with a small grin on her face.
"Ms Green." Linda said. "What a surprise." She spoke slowly. "What are you doing here?"
"I'd thought I'd visit you."
"Chandler doesnt work here anymore. If you are here to try and get his job back, you've come to the wrong man..woman. He quit. If he wants to come back.."
"Oh no...he doesnt want to come back." Rachel said.
"Then why are you here?" Linda asked as she was about to open the door.
"I heard it was your birthday soon and I thought I would bring you a gift." Rachel said.
"My birthday is next month." Linda said. "Why will you not let me in my office?"
"Oh, you have a gift alright." Rachel said. "Go on in."
"Thank you." Linda said as Rachel moved aside. She opened the door. "Oh my god!"
Rachel follwed her in. Rachel had taken the small paint containers and doused the room with them. She had moved everything to one side of the room.
"I was hoping the paint would not be still wet when you came here. But all the better." Rachel beamed.
"Oh my." She touched her hair where some bright red globes have fallen.
"Oh you will need something for that."
"Right." Linda said and grabbed a bottle on the desk. She poured some on her hands and she rubbed her head with it. She sat back and sighed to let it sink in.
"I wouldnt let that sit to long." Rachel said as she strode over.
"Right." Linda said and toweled it off. "Funny. Some hair came out." She said. She picked up the towel and shook it out. Large clumps of hair came out of it. She screamed.
"Oh yeah, I forgot the nair in your styling stuff." Rachel said. Her face darkened. "If you ever come near Chandler again, baldness is the least of your worries." She said with a low voice.
Linda almost didn't hear it. She cried hysterically. Rachel hardly blinked. "Ciao." Rachel said brightly. She closed the door behind her. She stopped at the desk of Lindas secretary. "Linda prefers not to be disturbed." She said quietly. "You know, its that time."
"Oh." The secretary said and returned to her work.

Home

"You did what?" Chandler said as he greeted Rachel at the front door.
"Paid the good Linda a visit." Rachel said. "She won't be bothering you anymore. If I'm right shes right now exploring the benefits of Rogaine."
"I can't believe it!" Chandler said. "And you, I never thought this was possible of you. You seem so nice."
"Yeah, but cross me or come on to my love, you better watch out!" Rachel said. "Don't worry, I hit her in the vanity spot. Its not prosecutable or anything like that. I did it for you." She smiled.
"I'd hate to get you really mad. Thats all I can say for me." Chandler said. Rachel laughed.
"So hows the job hunting."
"Nothing." Chandler sighed. "Joey wanted me to act with him. I have no talent, which would put me in almost the same league as the Spice Girls." Chandler said.
"What will you do?"
"Frankly my dear, I do not know." Chandler sighed.
Rachel embraced him. They sat there holding each other till they fell asleep on the couch.
